“When it rains, it pours”
August 07, 2012
We use this expression in English to refer to situations wherein many good things or bad things all seem to happen to us at one time. Even if it’s not the rainy season, the Philippines have always been under constant bombardment from “rain” and “bad weather”. I know were all aware that majority in Metro Manila are experiencing continues heavy rains, causing extreme floods, rescuing etc… I just hope and pray that this will be over soon but for now what’s really important is to stay strong and united. To be honest by watching the victims and rescuers on television I’m really scared for them and scared for myself too coz I never experience extreme flooding that can actually wipe out homes.
Anyway, here are quick ways to donate.
Globe Telecome

tweeted "We are waiving our transaction fees for donations made via G-Cash. To donate, text DONATE <amount> <4-digit M-PIN> REDCROSS to 2882"

LBC Foundation
@LBC_Foundation
tweeted "LBC branches as drop-off centers for Phil. Red Cross. You may take your donations for flood victims to the nearest branch starting tom Aug 8"
